Process Overview
We realize that making the decision to go into business for yourself is a difficult one. A significant amount of your time, energy and money will be put into making your business a success, so it is important that you evaluate and choose a business that best fits your needs and goals. Our franchisee selection process has been developed through years of experience to assist both you, and PostNet in making an educated and informed decision about the potential of a long-term relationship. Franchising works best when combining the interdependent skills and capabilities of the franchisor and franchisee with passion, energy and a shared vision for success. Our goal is to help you understand our goals and vision and ensure that they are aligned with yours. PostNet’s franchisee selection process is generally a four- to six-week process; however, there is room for adjustment based on your own personal needs, area or location of interest and availability. Please click on the links below to learn more about the different stages of our process. Whether you contact us by e-mail, telephone or fax, you will receive a call from one of our franchise sales representatives. The call serves as an introductory meeting, provides you with a general overview of our business and explains the application process and additional steps you will need to complete to be considered for a PostNet franchise. PostNet’s receipt of your application signals the start of your journey to explore our franchise opportunity. Qualified applicants will receive a copy of PostNet’s Franchise Disclosure Document (FDD) and investigation guide. You will learn about our industry, PostNet’s attributes and competitive advantages and your role and expectations as a franchise owner and member of the PostNet organization. One of our franchise sales representatives will review PostNet’s FDD with you, explain how to best utilize the document to obtain the information you may want and answer any questions you may have. This step involves an in-depth discussion about PostNet’s site location/approval process, interior layout and design, construction and training programs. It covers everything you need to know about how we help get your store open and in operation. At this point you will better understand the critical aspects of running a PostNet center and will want to speak with PostNet franchisees about their own experiences. You will learn more about PostNet’s industry-leading technology, marketing programs and ongoing support. Prior to scheduling your Discovery Day visit, this is your opportunity to meet by telephone with one of PostNet’s co-founders, either Steve Greenbaum or Brian Spindel to gain additional insight about the company and ask them whatever you feel necessary. This is the final step in our evaluation process before you are awarded a franchise. Your personal Discovery Day will give you an opportunity to meet with key executives and department heads who will work closely with you as a PostNet franchisee. |
