Initial & Ongoing Fees
This section will provide you with a good basic understanding of PostNet’s initial and ongoing fees. Detailed information regarding our franchise investment can be found in PostNet's Uniform Franchise Offering Circular (UFOC)
PostNet’s franchise fee is one of the most inclusive in the copy, print, retail shipping and business services industries. Our franchise fee includes site selection support; layout and design, training and grand opening support, initial customized printed materials and use of our Proprietary Mark -- PostNet®. PostNet is the first in the industry to offer new franchisees a fully managed first-year advertising program. The program includes a grand opening promotional campaign and a series of direct mail campaigns targeted to reach general consumers and business customers. When you add the activities of PostNet’s National Ad Fund, new stores are provided advertising to businesses and homes in their trade area almost monthly in their first year of business! This helps ensure that proven methods and messages are utilized in building an initial customer base. These funds are not paid to PostNet. New franchisees must have a minimum amount of capital available to support the start-up phase of the business. Royalties are paid monthly to fund ongoing support including regional meetings and national conventions, toll-free franchise support lines, franchise support staff, e-mail bulletins, operation manual updates and enhancements, and the research and development of new services and products. Expenditures from the fund provide franchisees with a customized web presence including local store webpage, file upload capabilities and a store email address; national media advertising and professionally-prepared marketing and advertising materials; as well as advertising and marketing consulting. PostNet Headquarters collaborates with franchisees on advertising fund expenditures through the PostNet National Franchisees Advisory Council. PostNet makes it easier for you to start your new business by offering a comprehensive store development package. We take the worries out of construction and opening and let you focus on what's really important - getting ready to take care of customers. PostNet’s Store Development Program includes construction management, modular store fixtures, painting, carpeting, and interior and exterior signage. Also included are initial start-up inventory, supplies, and a state-of-the-art equipment package, including PostNet’s Store Management System, Rental Station and in-store network.
